This is actually rather disingenuous behavior from an outfit I thought was pretty reputable. I have tested this from three different computers using four different browsers and the result is always the same. I just tried this morning and experienced the same issue. I thought at first this was a programming error because I read that Nexus was redesigning their website, so I tried a couple of weeks later. If you click on "I'll stick with basic membership" you then get re-directed to the Nexus default.html page. The "Fast Download" button re-directs to a payment page. I decided to play Skyrim recently and went to Nexus to update TES5Edit as well as some older mods and experienced this issue first hand. I have a Nexus membership but I haven't logged on in a couple of years.
